My beautiful sister

This is Kimmie's only sister Lisa. Kimberly Elizabeth Culp~Cox was born on the 7th of April 1957 in Sacramento California. Being the 1st born to Betty & Bill Culp & the 1st grandchild she was treasured. Her dark Native American hair, beautiful smiling eyes & shining dimples captivated everyone. She was a little lady from the get go always clothed in the finest of frilly dresses. After moving to Portland Oregon in 1965, Kim was 8 yrs old. She attended Lynchwood Elementary while also enjoying Ice skating lessons at Lloyd Center. Kim graduated from Gresham High School, attended & graduated from Western Business College with an emphasis in Travel. From the beginning of time she loved everything to do with her God, Biblical scriptures, and singing songs that honored him. She loved going to church and always being a part of what was going on anywhere she attended. Kim actively helped to lead a mothers group at Beaverton Foursquare Church and seeing how she had successfully raised 4 beautiful children she had so much to offer. She is referred to as 'The Mother Ship, The Madre, Mom the bomb, Marmi, & Mammasita. Ryan, Jillian, Corey and Lacey Cox are all show cases of the quality of parenting this woman gave. It is with great respect, love and admiration that Ryan's wife Kailee and Corey's wife Rachel say goodbye to their mom. Kim absolutely loved to cook! And she had it down! She even won the Betty Crocker Award. She would spoil her family with tantalizing cookies & delectable treats. She was always researching new recipes to share. Kim was also the Bed & Breakfast travel specialist. Anywhere you wanted to visit Kim would have details on the best places to stay. She herself loved traveling and had many opportunity to do so. Her favorite places were tropical as she always had the darkest of tan when returning to show off. She was a cheerleader for family fun times. Kim's sides would ache in laughter while her son's Corey & Ryan imitated characters, all played Janga, and Kareoke. Above all the most important thing to her was the love of God. She longed for everyone to know of His great love and give their hearts to Him. She leaves behind Her loving and faithful husband Michael, 6 incredible children including their spouses, her parents, sister Lisa, brother Chris, nieces Rachael & Autumn Rose, her great~neice Salem and so many others who long to follow right behind her. Her constant companion, her Golden Retriever Bell is still waiting for her return. Just look over your shoulder Kimmie and we are right behind you.

  1. Kim I want you to know that you will be missed by your family. You were the rock. You were the one that kept everyone grounded.
You have an exceptional smile. I dont remember one time that you were not happy. Even in the worst of times you smiled. Your children adore you. Your sister and brother respect and love you. Your husband thinks the world of you. I feel priviledged to have known you. Not to many people in your place could show the love of God like you did. With grace and gentleness. You never had a bad word to say that I heard about anyone. You were positive even in the worst of times. You will be missed by those who have not been called home yet. But the Angels rejoice as you join them in singing and dancing to the King. Heavern is a better place today. I'll see you there.
    Bonnie
